As you might have recognized already, we experience interruptions at our web site, the forum and the repository lately. That's because you love Kanotix so much, and more and more Kanotix-friends find their way to us. Also we enjoy this trend, there are technical problems with the web server we have to solve:
As we expect futher growth it is time now to take precautions for the future. Our existing server configuration is simply too weak and not upgradeable much more. We therefore need a decent dedicated Debian-server (dual core, min. 8Gb RAM), well connected in Europe, but probably also a mirror solution in the US. A serious sponsor would be ideal who is willing and able to provide such infrastructure on a long-term base.
