Use the fromiso cheat code to boot directly from the downloaded iso-file:

Is it possible to boot from an ISO at all? I want to install Vista Beta 2, but dont have a DVD burner... If I could boot from an ISO file then that would be good! Alternativly, maybe someone could mail me a copy? I'm in the UK...

aha... thanks very much! Thought that was only specific to Kanotix!
Does anyone know what files from the Windows Iso file would correspond to miniroot.gz and vmlinuz?

No, Win does a HD-Emulation. with 4 sectors as I/O than comes a 6MB ntldr (the real kernel) that boots the rest.
M$ has a KB-helpfile for installing or makeing a WIN-BootCD. Look @msdn.developer.com
