My understanding is that this should work with latest kernel. Has anyone actually tried the above card with good results? Price is right and Fry's sells as Outpost.com over the web.

The rt61 module included with Kanotix is not the very best wifi module IMHO. However the rt2x00 project is undergoing a massive rewrite of the rt61 module, and all the other so called "legacy" ralink drivers, in order to get support for such adapters into the linux kernel (long term future).

I got that deal, and Kanotix had no trouble recognizing the card .
