I have tried several different linux distros for use on my Vaio laptop and I have to say that Kanotix is by far the best one - hardware support, interface, and my beloved Debian tools & feel.
Just wanted to say THANKS and keep up the great work!!!!!

Welcome to Kanotix, and hope you enjoy the distro, I have to agree on many points; Kanotix is great, it did install easier than any sid based distro I have used ( which, I previously used Knoppix ), it found, in some cases, impossible hardware that I never thought would find, let alone configure, and work... Some of the hardware, I might add, Windows failed to have it work, and that was with there inf and drivers...
Another point, which you may find, or need, in the future, is, the support! Both through the Kanotix Forums, and through the irc chat channel. The support is wonderful. Everyone of the development team, you know who you are - and thanks, keeps a mindful watch for possible issues, and if they havent found resolves for them already, they are warning about them - and STILL searching for resolves.
