What confused me at first (a while back) is that while I am logged in (in English) is that most of the text on the downloads page is in German. I see that has not changed.

www.kanotix.com, you'll find the following description: "Kanotix is assembled for 32 Bit i586 and for AMD 64". If you have a recent Intel or AMD processor, then you're in luck. Lite? Perhaps that means some of the bigger applications, like Open Office, aren't included for ease of downloading.

Well I must agree with iemand here. Then don't hide it away! Link to that link you googled up. Write down that Lite means what it means. Tell the user what ISO is right for what.
Sounds like the original poster is (or was) not aware that the 32bit/64bit refers to the processor in the machine he wants to install on.
I think he/she does know, but isn't that something the CD can detect?
