Dear All,

I have a kworld xpert dvdmaker. This is supposed to be working in linux using the em2800 module or driver and using apps such as mplayer, tvtime, kaffeine.I have researched this on some forums but for me the info is sketchy at best. Does anyone know anything about this device or how to get it to work?

It is usb and it was detected when I plugged it in. I think there just might be a few more steps I am not understanding yet. Some ways to use this device are to hook up older analog camcorders, vhs players, and tv's etc to the computer and then make dvds eventually. I want to just hook up my vhs tape player to the computer with this device and make dvds from my vhs tapes(home movies). Any direction or suggestions will be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Sincerely,

Marcia
