Hello,

First off, I'm extremely new to Linux and as fate would have it, I'm a sysadmin in the Linux section at work..I'm wanting to ween myself from windows totally and I have all except my email. Kanotix doesn't have Evolution, and I need to have it installed for the MSExchange purpose. Kpackage, finds the package but always has an error when installing.

E: There are problems and -y was used without --force-yes
RESULT=100

I don't know what else to do.

I don't use it, never did, but apt-cache policy shows me

root@KanotixBox:/home/piper# apt-cache policy evolution
evolution:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 2.6.3-1
Version table:
2.6.3-1 0
500 http://ftp.de.debian.org unstable/main Packages
2.6.2-4 0
200 http://ftp.de.debian.org testing/main Packages

try as root in konsole

apt-get install evolution

Always use apt to install Winken

Dont forget to install evolution-exchange and plugins for work
