Please replace Adept in the next release with Kpackage! Adept has no way that I could find to install a .deb package from hard disk or cd-rom. This lack had me installing my modem driver via alien (when I tryied the Easter RC4 release), something I should never have to do!
Also, there seems to be a bug in the install-nvidia-denain script when trying to install drivers for my nVidia Gforce2 pro card. I don't remember the exact error I got, but it was something about the script passing an invalid option.
Unfortunatley I can't afford to upgrade to a newer nVidia card right now, so I will have to stay with 2005-04 for now.
I also believe that OpenOffice.org should be included instead of Koffice. (I Just like OpenOffice.org better!)
I would rather see GAIM than Kopete, again a matter of personal preference. |
