Isn't this the episode where if Spock has a beard, he's the evil one 
Possibly, we have "inadvertantly" picked up the "evil" twin of "Gates" from a parallel universe somewhere |

Is this article just a a joke? I think most people think it is.
It cannot be a joke, i don't believe that such a "joke" would be accepted by MS or B.G.

I cant help but remember the part that Micheal Anthony Hall played in the "documentary"; "Pirates Of Silicon Valley", and the complete "evil-handed-ness" of his character, when dealing with Steve Jobs, and what "they" stole from Xerox...
Maybe Gates is getting a conceince? Maybe the Wizard finally came through with his promise and gave him his heart? The article could be true LessWire! He "was" caught before a conference, and "off guard", and he "might" have been speaking the truth? He "may" actually be completely honest, that "even though" Microsoft has been makin tons of money off his "acquisition" of Windows, that it "may actually" not be the best on the market. This wouldnt be the first time, a company who makes lots of money off something, has the "candor" to admit, it may not be the greatest... I cant recall if this has ever happened in the past, but, by all randomness, it should have, considering the odds, he cant be the first?
Actually, all I could think of, while I was reading the article, was, the same thing he did while he was "praising" Steve Jobs and his "Wonderful" product he was working on, the Macintosh... all the while, Gates was "working" in the background a way to steal it... Cant think he has changed so much, that this article was another attempt to "cloud" everyones eyes, while he is working in the background???
Anyway, what does it change? Was "Gates" showing he's going a little senile? Like the article states, he refused to take a Psych Eval. I cant imagine its a hoax, but, then again, I havent really heard of these "Linux reports MS CEO gives up on Windows" stories either, and that WOULD be BIG news.
The article did state that "he" states this, but, not many at M$ think that way, like M$ is going to throw out there biggest "cash cow" because of these statements... So, what does it change? Nothing, really. All it does is, releive "Gates" from being the "Bad Guy", and places it all onto "Microsoft" instead. |

Interesting....
Was just reading some other threads, and got into the whole subject of Gates, Windows, and the past... Even in my previous post, it came to mind...
What if all that Gates is doing, is, giving Linux its "minute in the spotlight" ? A moment for it to shine, and, possibly, a moment for all the evil in the world, to see a different focal point to attack? Possibly, this diversionary tactic is to point all the bad things in the world, not so much AWAY from M$, but, possibly, to divert "some" of it, over to Linux?
Maybe all that Gates is doing, is, saying: "Hey Virus Attackers, Crackers, Hackers, and anyone else who likes to threaten the livelyhood of Windows' success - Look Over ----> There!" ?
I could just be a cautious, paranoid, freak, geek, but, who knows, oh well, maybe just my senile ramblings ???? |
