Hi, Hope someone can help.
I have just upgraded my PC and my Kanotix live disc cannot find my new LAN connection. I think I have the 2005-04 release.
I have several live distro disks - Ubuntu, Linspire and Mandriva move all of which have problems, the main one being no GUI, but I really like my Kanotix best.
According to my Motherboard Manual I now have an ATTANSIC Gigabit LAN PHY. I'm not sure what that means gut I think its capable of faster speeds than my old Motherboard.
Please can anyone help me? |

rm /etc/iftab
echo -e auto lo\\niface lo inet loopback > /etc/network/interfaces
reboot
and select dhcp on right interface with
netcardconfig |
