Hi
Im a newbie to Kanotix, and so downloaded the 2006 live cd used it on my desktop, and eventually installed it I liked it so much.
Have been wanting to get it on my laptop, and the live cd runs I see the splash screen, and then when the disk loads all I get on my screen is a brilliant display of colours, all jumbled, and nothing else. The card installed on the laptop is a XGI Volari-XP5 v1.09.03 ECS_532.
I have tried everything to get it to work but still no luck, can anybody help??

| Not sure if you were aware that you can pass cheatcodes to the Kanotix live disc when you boot. This allows the disc to deal with specific hardware. Have a look. |

| Thanks for that tried all the codes and I did manage to get into a single screen, but it was still rather fuzzy and the display was big, so big I couldnt see the taskbar. Also got an error on a few which said no suitable x-server found for your card, so Im assuming that it wont be able to work. |
