mzilikazi posted a link to this site, for other hardware, but I took a look, and sure enough, they are selling genuine hardware, not win, modems:

check the site out, stop wasting your time trying to get winmodems or those silly linux winmodem drivers to work, use the real thing and your problems are gone:
