          | Hi,
I don't really want Grub loading on every boot as I share my computer now, and it makes it easier if it goes straight into Windows XP.

How can I set it so I can press F12 (on my Dell anyway!) whilst it is booting and choose the drive there to be my second drive and boot from there?

Currently if I do this, Grub loads a bit but then fails - I think I had it installed on my primary MBR before, so I guess I want it on my secondary drive instead - anyway, what do I need to do?

 Thanks,

 Rich

          | How about shorting the timeout value of grub to 2 seconds, so the other users would barely see it
 or

Take grub out from your MBR. When you're going to use kanotix, boot it with a floopy disk. Search the forum/wiki how to make a floopy grub disk
