          | HardInfo
 Quick build:

 Code:
apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev lspci
svn checkout svn://svn.berlios.de/hardinfo/trunk hardinfo
 cd hardinfo/hardinfo2
 ./configure && make
 fakeroot checkinstall
 dpkg -i hardinfo2_*_i386.deb

 It displays some nice system information but what I really liked about it are the benchmarks. Not for any sort of contest or comparison to anyone else necessarily but rather for testing different hardware configurations and kernels. You can save an HTML report. Pretty slick.

          | Dear mzilikazi, why do you build from svn the hartinfo and not just apt-get it?
