the subject pretty much says it all... does any Kanotix build support this device natively, and if not - can it be configured somehow?
thanks. |

i have 2005-04 installed on a desktop box, and i can get the dwl-122 to connect to our home wifi router (after running the Network Card Config util for wlan0, entering the wep info during this step, and evidenced by the stats/info shown in Kwifimanager which shows i'm connected with a strong signal but no ip...). further, when i look at the wlan0 traffic in Etherial i can see the home wifi router (a 2wire230) sending broadcast notifications - yet i'm not getting an ip assigned. what am i doing wrong?
if i take the dwl-122 and plug it into my xp laptop it works great, so i'm pretty sure the router is fine and i's a problem w my config. any guesses?
thanks. |

You could also try ndiswrapper instead of the native linux driver. |
