THE PROBLEM I HAVE:

Basically Windows XP doesn't boot, I got a Windows 2000 booting sequence screen which freezes and never got to the point of starting windows XP. Windows XP is bootable IF I change the boot order in the BIOS options, so Windows XP hasn't been ""damaged"" by any Linux installation. any idea ? |

you changed the boot sequence. if you want to boot it add

map (hd0) (hd1)
