BTW. jetzt ist das -ub weg und der kernel auch im repository.
apt-get remove --purge linux-image-2.6.28-1-ub-generic linux-headers-2.6.28-1-ub
apt-get update
apt-get install linux-image-2.6.28-1-generic linux-headers-2.6.28-1-generic |

Doch dkms normal schon. Hast halt das Script nicht verwendet. Für 180* hab ichs freigeschaltet, ältere müsst ich überprüfen:

evtl. mach ich ne 2.6.28 fassung,weil für 71.xx braucht man nen extra patch. Nebenbei gibts auch die server variante nun:

Bis jetzt läuft alles supi!
Zum ersten Mal nach langer Zeit musste ich nach einem Kernelupdate beim Hochfahren nicht mehr die Bildschirmhelligkeit nachregeln (Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pa 2510). |

| Ja, mit nfs scheints ein problem zu geben. Müsste man mit jaunty mal testen,ob das da funktioniert. Auch mit backports hab ichs nicht hinbekommen. |

bin ziemlich ratlos:
habe heute mein Thorhammer 7RC auf dem Eeepc 700surf ge"dist-upgrade"ed und gleich auch den kernel von 2.6.24.... auf den neuesten 2.6.28-1-generic.
Die gute Nachricht: das Treibermodul für meinen HAMA 62759 ist jetzt dabei und man kann nach dem Besorgen der firmware mit kaffeine ohne weiteres DVB-T fernsehen
Die schlechte Nachricht: Sound geht nicht mehr.
Da ich nicht wusste, ob dist-upgrade oder kernel-update daran schuld war, habe ich mit dem alten kernel gebootet. Auch da war der sound verschwunden, alsaconf hat aber geholfen und sound geht wieder mit dem alten kernel.
Mit dem neuen kernel hat "alsaconf" nichts gebracht - sound geht nach wie vor nicht...
hoffe, dass jemand eine gute Idee hat - schon mal ein Dankeschön
Editiert am nächsten Morgen: nach erneutem Reboot alles ok. ????
Habe auch auf einer anderen Kanotix-Partition alles nochmal nachgestellt - du und kernel-update einwandfrei.
und an Kano: besten Dank für diesen 2.6.28....kernel. |
