Downloaded today the Kanotix Spitfire 2016 LXDE 64 bit iso and did a frugal install.
Have to say : nice piece of work. Thank you very much!
Only one small problem : '.config/openbox/lxde-rc.xml' doesn't do not its job. The superkey in combination with a letter shows a small rectangle in the upper right corner of the screen with that letter inside instead of starting a program. (eg : "W-f" for starting PCManFM)
Had a look : the windows key (superkey) under 'xev' gives : keycode 133 (keysym 0xffeb, Super_L) which is OK, I think.
Any help?
Thank you. |

"W-e" is starting PCManFm
"W-f" is not configured
after editing restart openbox

Thank you for reacton.
You are right about 'W-f'. But the problem remains :
IIn the original '.config/openbox/lxde-rc.xml' :
"W-e" = PCManFM
"W-r" = lxpanelctl run
But nothing happens : only a small rectangle in the upper right corner of the screen with that letter('e' / 'r') inside instead of starting PCManFM or running lxpanelctl.
So again : any help?
Thank you. |

| This is working for me, but keep in mind that the openbox key konfiguration doesn't work if compiz is enabled. |

Thank you very much! Feel this is the answer to my question. Don't know much about Compiz. Will try to find out...
If you allow me : how to disable Compiz in Kanotix.
Once more : thank you very much. |

In the Taskbar you will find the Compiz-Fusion Tray Icon, right click, select Window-Manager, try openbox-lxde or compiz. |
