Is it possible to boot from an ISO at all? I want to install Vista Beta 2, but dont have a DVD burner... If I could boot from an ISO file then that would be good! Alternativly, maybe someone could mail me a copy? I'm in the UK... |

aha... thanks very much! Thought that was only specific to Kanotix!
Does anyone know what files from the Windows Iso file would correspond to miniroot.gz and vmlinuz? |

No, Win does a HD-Emulation. with 4 sectors as I/O than comes a 6MB ntldr (the real kernel) that boots the rest.
M$ has a KB-helpfile for installing or makeing a WIN-BootCD. Look @msdn.developer.com |
