Hi all,
This is my 1st post so please be gentle 
I installed the Kanotix 32bit live CD to my hard disk and wow I think it's way cool. However; I did a package update with KPackage and only updated some and now when I try and use KPackage for more updates I get nothing. If I attempt to get any updates all I get is one directory called DEBIAN and no update packages, no new packages only what I have installed.
If I attempt an APT upgrade I get the error:

The file is there,
