Titel: Compiz not working after update.

After Debian update of Compiz this past weekend, Compiz does not work on my laptop. In terminal I receive error message, "No manageable screens found on display: 0.0. Window manager warning: Failed to read theme from file /usr/share/themes/Clearlooks/metacity-theme-1.xml."
Prior to this update, Compiz and effects worked perfectly with my Sony Vaio PCG-GRT170 with Nvidia GeForce Fx Go5600 with latest Kanotix 2006-01-RC4. I'm invoking Compiz with command "compiz --replace &". Is there a new procedure or should I just wait for the next update? Everything else is working perfectly. Thank You. |
