It looks ok with the "funky monkey" Colour schem but for the full effect select a Custom color scheme in the Amarok Appearance configuration (the same place you import this theme) and use these colors:
Foreground - #FFFFFF
Background - #02162B

New CD label. The hole in the middle won't cut through the middle of the penguins now and KANOTIX won't be obscured if it's in a paper sleeve with a window.

My kanotix icon theme is in my new (still mostly empty) repo so if you like, you can add it to your list to make it available via apt-get and stay up to date as I work on it.
Just add the following to the bottom of your /etc/apt/sources.list

#Cathbard
deb ftp://cathbard.com/ ./
You will have to be root of course.
You will also have to gpg sign it. To do that open a konsole and:

su
gpg --keyserver wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net --recv-keys 4E3866DB
apt-key add /root/.gnupg/pubring.gpg
Then you can start installing:

apt-get update
apt-get install cathbard-icons-kanotix
Now it should be available in the Appearances> Icons in your control centre.
My repo will always just be art and stuff, no programs that might interfere with your system.
PS: Also in the repo now:
Kanotix Penguins XMMS theme:
apt-get install cathbard-xmms-kanotix-penguins
When you go into the skin browser in xmms there are two directories listed that you have to click on, this will be in /usr/share/xmms/Skins.
Kanotix Penguins Amarok theme:
apt-get install cathbard-amarok-kanotix-penguins
don't forget to change the colours in amarok to those in the readme (/usr/share/apps/amarok/themes/kanotix-penguins/Readme) or use funky monkey.
Hint* Open konqueror and type this in the location field:
apt:/search?cathbard
that will list all packages available since last apt-get update. Then just bookmark it and you can see all the new stuff at a glance, just run an apt-get update and visit the bookmark. |

Thanks eco2geek. I must do some more emerald themes and put them into debs. My button making skills have improved recently so I really should knock up some new ones. I push my old machine too hard to run compiz (or whatever) so I always forget about it.

Tux was drawn in inkscape and the rest was done in gimp. That's a frozen stream running into a frozen pool in New Zealand (a gpl image). |

Those icons aren't coming from my set. My set is for KDE and that looks like a gtk app to me which will be pulling the icons from somewhere else.

I've created a background for konqueror. If you have my repo enabled just use:
apt-get install cathbard-konqueror-kanotix-watermark
otherwise just click on th image to download the deb.
Once installed it will be available in konqueror in:
View > Configure Background |
