Titel: Help installing ATI drivers

Tried downloading and installing the ATI drivers for my Dell laptop from ATI.
But when I rebooted all I get is a text prompt and trying to use startx just puts me back at it with error message "No screens found".
I have a ATI Rage 128 M3, yeah its old.
Try to use Kano's scripts in init 3 just give the error that no ati card is found.
I am not looking to have super fast 3d just want a little more than what it has now.
Any ideas on what I can do or what I am doing wrong? |
